  • Campaign Advocacy: Deliver the actions, including the Open Letter, to New Zealand party leaders and MPs to demonstrate public and industry support for fair import standards.

  • Communication: Send you updates on the campaign, legislative progress, and future actions (where you have provided express consent).

  • Targeted Advertising: Use technologies like the Facebook Pixel to show you relevant campaign updates on social media.

  • Analytics: Improve our website performance and understand our supporter base.

4. Facebook Pixel and Tracking

We use the Facebook Pixel to track actions on our website. This allows us to:

  • Measure the effectiveness of our Facebook ads.

  • Reach people who have visited our site with relevant campaign messages on Facebook and Instagram.

  • Understand which parts of our campaign resonate most with the public.

Meta (Facebook) receives this data and processes it according to their own privacy policies. You can opt out of targeted advertising through your Facebook ad settings or via your web browser's "Do Not Track" settings.

5. Disclosure of Your Information

By signing our actions, including the Open Letter, you agree that your name, region, and comments will be shared with the leaders of the National, Labour, NZ First, and ACT parties.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share your data with trusted third-party service providers (such as Wix or Action Network or other email marketing platforms) who assist us in operating our website and conducting our campaign. These providers are contractually obligated to keep your information secure and use it only for the purposes we specify.

6. Storage and Security

Your information is stored securely in digital databases. While we primarily store data in New Zealand, some third-party providers may store data on overseas servers. We take all reasonable steps to ensure that any overseas recipients protect your information with safeguards comparable to New Zealand privacy laws.

We comply with the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007. We will only send you marketing or campaign emails if you have opted in to receive them. Every email we send includes a clear "unsubscribe" link, and we will process your request to be removed from our list within five working days.
